At SMBC, our vision as a church is that by the year 2010, we will have:

• Performed mission work in all 50 states

• Planted at least one church in Canada

• Planted at least five churches in the United States

• Sent missionaries from SMBC to all 24 time zones

• Planted churches in all 11 International Mission Board regions

How are we doing? As of GIC 2007, we have performed mission work in 28 States plus the District of Columbia:

• Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Washington D.C., Wisconsin.

We have helped plant a church in Canada:

• A Place Called Hope in Lethbridge, Alberta.

We have helped plant five churches in the United States:

• Crossroads Community Church in Birmingham, Alabama
• Iglesia Cristiana Agape in Hoover, Alabama
• The Point Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey
• Grace Point Church in North Las Vegas, Nevada
• North Valley Church in Margaret, Alabama
