Global Ministries Volunteer Opportunities

Global Ministries Prayer Team

Pray for specific mission projects, support a missionary family or an individual on the field through prayer, or be an advocate for an unreached people group. Help maintain contact with our partners and communicate their prayer needs to others.

Global Ministries Resource Center/Conference Room

Maintain, rotate, and update missions displays on a monthly basis. Help decorate the rooms for visual interest.

Global Ministries Resource Team: Supply Room

Maintain the Global Ministries supply room by keeping inventory of donated resources and supplies available for mission projects. Assist teams and individuals in gathering and organizing needed resources for mission projects and replace items upon their return.

Global Ministries Resource Team: Flags

Keep inventory and help change out flags prior to each mission project. Select flags representing countries highlighted during the Global Impact Celebration.

Administrative Support

Assist the Global Ministries office with general administrative tasks such as copying, proofreading, data entry and preparing materials for mission projects and ESL (English as a Second language) classes. Also help maintain the Columbiana Place World Map by designing cards with information about our annual mission projects and updating our 2010 Vision progress.

Promotions Design

Design handouts describing and promoting each short-term international, national, and local mission project, and mission announcements for Sunday School departments.

Photographer/Videographer

Capture mission moments and testimonies during and after mission projects. Help gather material and produce presentations to show our church how God worked through the mission project.

Transportation

Assist with transportation needs for mission teams, for our International Ministry, and for moving resources and supplies in vans or pickup trucks. Shuttle and van drivers are needed to transport team members to and from the airport, particularly the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport.
