The Music & Worship Ministry of Shades Mountain Baptist Church uses the artistic talents found in this fellowship to glorify the Lord and to lead our congregation in worship. Here, we give all ages the opportunity to improve their skills, focus their motivation, and then dedicate every performance as an act of worship to the “Giver of All Good Things.”
Sunday is a special time at SMBC as our church family gathers together for meaningful times of praise and worship. Through the language of music and drama, we express to God our adoration, our love, our weaknesses and our needs. We hear His voice—both in the mighty chorus of voices and instruments and in the quiet, intimate and familiar melodies.
Discover a place for worship this Sunday. Be a part of our Music & Worship Ministry as we lead in praise and song each week. God has given each of us different expressive gifts. We devote our energies to helping us discover those gifts and finding a place to use them. From choirs for preschoolers and children, to highly produced, touring music mission programs for students, to our adult Worship Choir and Orchestra, to instrumental groups to worship teams; all of these are prepared, practiced and presented as a gift to the One who loves us most.
