B. Christian "living according to the Spirit"

1. Focuses on the things of the Spirit (v. 5)

2. Leads to life and peace (v. 6) 

II. A life lived in the Spirit (v. 9-13)

A. Receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion (v. 9)

B. Has a dying body but a living spirit (v. 10)

C. Has a body that will one day be resurrected (v. 11)

D. Is obligated to live a righteous life (v. 12-13)
