Review from 5:12-15

Apply the three "keep-on's" (v. 16-18)
A. Keep on rejoicing (v. 16)

"Rejoicing" — a joy from within based on a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.


B. Keep on praying (v. 17)

I am conscious of my dependence on God and that I am surrounded by the love of God.

Purpose of prayer:

A. To know God and His will for your life.

B. To transform your life.


C. Keep on giving thanks (v. 18)

Our joy, our prayers, our thanksgiving to God should not fluctuate with our circumstances or feelings.
