I. Whatever

Definition: Used to indicate indifference to or scorn for something, such as a remark or suggestion: "We're having pizza tonight—Whatever. I don't care."

"In those days Israel had no king, so the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes."

--Judges 21:25 (NLT)

Definition of traditional tolerance: "Recognize and respect others' beliefs and practices without sharing them."

Definition of positive tolerance: "Every single individual's lifestyle, values, beliefs, and truth claims are equal."

The one who will not stand for anything will fall for everything.

II. Wherever

"But thanks be to God, who made us His captives and leads us along in Christ's triumphal procession. Now wherever we go He uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Good News like a sweet perfume."

--II Corinthians 2:14

"Our lives are a fragrance presented by Christ to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those being saved and by those perishing."

--II Corinthians 2:15

"To those who are perishing we are a fearful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved we are a life-giving perfume."

--II Corinthians 2:16

A fragrance:

1. Reveals the presence of what cannot be seen
2. Has penetrating strength
3. Repulses those who reject it
4. Delights those who receive it

"But to those who are being saved we are a life-giving perfume."(v. 16)

5. Requires close proximity to the source
