Remember what it was like to be 20? Shades is home to many university students who are in these years of transition and may be far away from their families. Whether you are an older person who wants to share your life experience with someone younger, have children who need an older “sister” to look up to or an empty-nester with your own kids far away, invest in some of the most significant years in one’s life. The task is as easy as a home-cooked meal, providing a quiet place to study, or simply sitting together at church. Open your home to a new family member.
