“Light of the World”

John 9:1-39

Psalm 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation”

Isaiah 35:5, “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened.”

Isaiah 49:6, “I will make you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Jesus:

1.     Illumines the truth

2.     Reveals to us God himself

3.     His light gives us eternal life so we should walk in His light

Because Jesus is the Light of the World:

1.     He will seek you out in the darkness  

2.     There will be repercussions because the world loves the darkness

3.     He will reveal new truths to you

4.     You are to take advantage of every opportunity to work for Him
