    This free 3-hour program will address some of the many challenges you will face during your career search. Keynote speakers will provide practical helps in a six-step process to help you maximize your efforts to find the meaningful employment God has for you. The same program will be offered in the morning (8:30-11:30am) and evening (5:30-8:30pm). Morning attendees are invited to attend Power Lunch (11:45-12:45), providing networking opportunities with business professionals. (Cost for PowerLunch: $5.00) Limited registration. Advanced reservations requested.

    If you are a member of SMBC who is looking for a place to plug in using your gifts, talents and experience to help people whose careers are in transition, come and join us on Wednesday, August 11. Some of the team needs include: prayer team, logistics, hosts and hostesses for events, administrative/secretarial, subject matter expositors, workshop facilitators, coaches and more.     This 7-week course covers adjusting attitudes, effective job networking, results-oriented resumes, successful interviewing, negotiating the best job offer and more. Cost: $30 includes a printed copy of the 80-page workbook and assessments including the CareerDirect assessment of strengths, interests, and personality (an $80.00 value). Scholarships are available as needed.
