Jerry Hop-Hand in Hand Community Event
March 10, 2018 at 6 pm — 9 pm | Community Life Center and Student Building
The Jerry Hop is a collaboration between the Autism Society of Alabama and Shades Mountain Baptist Church to provide a fun evening full of music and other activities for individuals with disabilities (must be at least school aged) and their siblings. Individuals will be partnered with a helper for the night to provide comfort, encourage participation and assist with needs. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, express creativity, and just have fun! All disabilities welcome to attend. Dressing up is welcomed but not required. Dinner included (Gluten free options available).
Parent/Caregiver Dinner - In addition to the Hop, parents and caregivers are invited to a relaxing evening of dinner, music and comedy. Included in the $10 ticket price, you will receive dinner for 2, coffee and desserts.
Volunteers- Opportunities range from being paired with an individual during the dance, registration, set-up, plating and serving food. For further information, please contact Kim Krubinski or Amy Kirby.
