Lifeline Foster Parent Orientation Meeting
August 15, 2017 at 6 pm — 8 pm | Dobbins 623
The first step to becoming a foster parent is to attend the orientation meeting prior to participating in the 10 week foster parent training course. Here you will learn more about Lifeline’s foster care program and the various requirements for licensure, including state mandated training, the home study process, and Minimum Standards for Foster Homes.
Orientation does not commit you to fostering, but is a great place to simply learn more.
- Attending Orientation is required in order to be able to apply for the class.
- *Childcare will be provided on site for Orientation and all classes (Birth to Grade 6).
- First Class: Begins Tuesday, August 29 and continues each Tuesday night through October 31. Class time is 6:00-9:00 pm.
