A One Day Workshop for Singers and Storytellers
Invest in your worship team, vocalists and filmmakers with this one day event that will pour into your creatives. Whether they be full time staff or church volunteers, you and your team will be given new tools to declare the gospel to this generation through the arts.
- $35 per person (includes lunch)
- $50 optional 1/2 day film intensive: Sunday 1/26, 2-8pm (includes dinner)
- Songs+Stories Showcase: Monday, 1/27, 7pm. The workshop will conclude with local worship leaders, choirs, and vocalists leading a special night of worship that will be free and open to the public.
Diane is one of the country’s most sought-after vocal coaches; Diane works with Lauren Daigle, Natalie Grant, Little Big Town, Danny Gokey, Matt Maher and so many more as a specialist in vocal technique and individual styling. On the road, her vocal regimen is regarded as a necessary daily ritual backstage as she shares her commitment to vocal health and maximizing the effectiveness of this God given instrument
Ethan is the Visual Arts Director at Shades Mt Baptist Church where he leads a super creative team dedicated to using cinematic original content to tell stories. With a library of content numbering in the hundreds, these stories are transformative works of art that weave a narrative of the Gospel lived out thru God’s people. At Songs +Stories, Ethan will lead both the main Stories Session on Monday as well as the ½ Day Intensive starting Sunday afternoon the day before. These sessions will cover material ranging from brainstorming ideas to cinematic filmmaking techniques
Michael is the Worship Arts Pastor at Shades and will serve as your host for Songs + Stories. Michael has led creatives all of his adult life and lives with a passion for using the arts to stimulate the hearts and minds of those who will hear with the truth and hope of the Gospel. Michael and the Worship Arts Ministry team at Shades hope to invest in singers and story tellers from area churches who are ready to raise the bar on their gifts and start 2020 with new vision and new tools for ministry
