To encourage the Men of Shades, to become the men of God, that He is calling them to be, in order to make disciples among all nations.
"Be watchful, stand firm in faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love" (1 Corinthians 16:13-14).

Men’s Gathering – Onward: Engaging the Culture without Losing the Gospel (6 weeks). ($15) Led by Joe Peddy and Warren Callaway starting Wednesday, April 13 at 6:00 pm in D535.
Onward is written by Russell Moore and points out the truth that with all the culture changes around us, it is no longer possible to pretend that we are a Moral Majority. That may be bad news for America, but it can be good news for the church. What's needed now, in shifting times, is neither a doubling-down on the status quo nor a pullback into isolation. Instead, we need a church that speaks to social and political issues with a bigger vision in mind: that of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Christianity seems increasingly strange, and even subversive, to our culture, we have the opportunity to reclaim the freakishness of the gospel, which is what gives it its power in the first place.
