GLOBAL IMPACT CELEBRATION 2020

Move

Feb. 26-March 1

FEBRUARY 26-MARCH1, 2020

Our annual Global Impact Celebration is what fuels missions at Shades. GIC is the largest single event we host annually as a church and is one the most exciting weeks each year in the life of our church. At GIC, we host more than 40 missionaries and church planters from around the world.

This five-day conference allows our church the opportunity to learn about the work of each missionary and church planter, hear their stories, share in their victories and disappointments, minister to them and their families, allow them to minister to us and develop relationships and partnerships. We encourage every member at Shades and any interested guests or visitors to come be a part of this exciting week in the life our church!

Theme

For more than a year, you've heard us talk about NEXT, The Time is Now. And the spiritual goals of this initiative inspired our theme for Global Impact Celebration 2020.

"Behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2b

That verse is our focus for GIC. Now is the day of salvation. The time is now. And so, we don't just come to GIC and consume. We move. For some of us, that could mean moving spiritually; for others, that could take a more practical meaning as you ponder what it means to Live Sent. Let's all Move in order to be on mission.

Schedule

Global Impact Celebration is full of gatherings, forums, lunches, and other ways for you to get to know our ministry partners and also take part in celebrating what God is doing around the world. We encourage you attend as much as you can throughout the week.
