After The Bell (ATB) provides quality, affordable after school care for children in K5 - 5th grade. Our schedule is Monday-Friday, after school until 6:00 PM at the Community Life Center (CLC). Buses pick up children from Vestavia East, West, and Central Elementary schools and bring them to the CLC for play, snack, Bible time, and homework.
The cost for ATB is $200 per month, plus a $100 annual registration fee. Tuition is due on the first of each month. Click here to check out our Tuition & Fees for all the details.
Registration for the 2020-21 school year is currently closed, but we are taking names for the wait list. Registration is based on incoming siblings and waitlisted applicants. To be added to that wait list, please call the Community Life Ministry at (205) 823-2000 or email email@example.com.
"After the Bell provides a safe, loving, Christian environment for our children to grow! We are so thankful to the staff and volunteers serving as partners to provide an environment where kids are free to make mistakes and are given the guidance and support to prepare them for the future. The ATB program addresses all needs, from physical play time, positive social interactions, homework and academic needs, character development, and spiritual growth! The love and commitment to this community ministry is phenomenal! We have seen firsthand the significant impact daily bible study, worship, and strong Christian role models have had on our son. There is nothing more heartwarming than to hear your child share God's Word and what he has learned - truly God's hand at work through the ATB program!"
“The "After the Bell" experience for our family has been truly amazing! We have never been part of a program in which the children ask to stay longer! The activities are very structured and the counselors have a genuine interest in our kids. One of my favorite things is that they come home telling us what they learned in Bible and singing songs they've learned. It's so nice to have all that and the incorporation of Jesus into our children's lives every day. Thank you SO much!”
