High School Ministry
High school is one of the most intentional mission fields you'll ever have, which is why we're all about sending transformed students to influence their world for Christ. We believe you can have impact now, not when you get older, but now. We aim to grow mature followers of Jesus who love His Word and seek living in community. You can read more about how we serve high schoolers below, but if you'd like to connect with us, email Isaac Cabrera, Associate Minister to High School!
Sunday School is the easiest way for you to get involved in high school ministry at Shades. It's how you can get to know and begin to live life with your peers. We've relaunched Sunday morning Sunday School. High School students will meet in the CLC gymnasium at 9:00 a.m. for Sunday School and attend worship with their families at 10:30 a.m. This will be our schedule for the remainder of the calendar year.
For more information on Sunday School, contact Mindy Barton, Student Ministry Assistant.
If you're interested in diving in deeper relationship with God and others, DGroups is the perfect place for you. It's how we connect with others on an intentional level. You'll group up with five to seven students in your same grade and of your same gender for weekly time focused in the Bible. You'll be led by someone in a life stage ahead of you, and it's a great way to begin forming the foundation of discipleship in your life. To register for DGroups, click the button below!
Wednesday night gatherings at Shades are a great midweek time to hang out with your friends, but it's also a way to have your eyes fixed toward Jesus no matter what life is like. This fall, we won't gather weekly in-person, but we will have select dates throughout the rest of the year where we'll worship together online. Check back here for more details in the coming weeks!
