Feb. 26-March 1

The Global Impact Celebration (GIC) Conference is the single largest missions event at Shades and is one the most exciting weeks in the life of our church. At GIC, missionaries, church planters, and mission organizations from around the world visit with us so we can learn from them, care for them, and discover ways to participate with them. Whether you are seeking to discover how we influence the world through missions or desiring to join a mission, this week will challenge and inspire everyone to better understand the mission of God.

For more than a year, you've heard us talk about NEXT, The Time is Now. And the spiritual goals of this initiative inspired our theme for Global Impact Celebration 2020.

"Behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2b

That verse is our focus for GIC. Now is the day of salvation. The time is now. And so, we don't just come to GIC and consume. We move. For some of us, that could mean moving spiritually; for others, that could take a more practical meaning as you ponder what it means to Live Sent. Let's all Move in order to be on mission.

Global Impact Celebration is full of gatherings, forums, lunches, and other ways for you to get to know our ministry partners and also take part in celebrating what God is doing around the world. We encourage you attend as much as you can throughout the week.
