It’s time to get the party startled!

We’re hosting a community-wide Trunk or Treat gathering, and you and your family are invited to join us for dessert trucks, games, giveaways, and of course plenty of free candy for everyone to enjoy. Wear your costume and get ready to visit a lineup of cars decked out for the occasion as we all get to celebrate this fun fall evening together.

FAQ

  • When is the Community Trunk or Treat? The festivities run 6-8 pm on Wednesday, October 27, but will be cancelled in the event of rain or inclement weather. • I don’t go to church at Shades. Can I still come? Absolutely! This is a community-wide event, and all our friends and neighbors are invited to come have fun with us. If you would like to place a promotional sign in your yard or door hangers in your neighborhood, visit the front desk at the Community Life Center to pick up whatever you need to help us tell others about this fun event. Postcards are also available throughout the church – grab some extras and invite your friends and neighbors!
  • Should I bring money when I come? Dessert trucks will be available to purchase cold and warm treats to enjoy. But be sure to leave some room for free popcorn and cotton candy! We will also be giving away $25 gift cards for gas, groceries, and restaurants throughout the night, so don’t forget to check in when you arrive.
  • Where should I park? Visitor parking will be available throughout the campus, except in the Student Building and Community Life Center parking lots. The festivities will be within walking distance in those areas, but a shuttle will also be available to transport you and your family.
